Kazoku Ryu

History

Kazoku Ryu was formed in September 2010 by Tony Hudspith 3rd Dan under the encouragement and support of his Yudansha. Kazoku means Family in Japanese’s and we hold this close to our hearts as we feel we are all one big family in Aikido.
We are a traditional style of Aikido and have a lineage from O’Sensei through Master Andre Nocquet 8th Dan Master Nocquet was the first western uchi deshi of O’Sensei in 1955.

We have links with groups in Belgium, France and Germany as well as others in the UK.
We would like to welcome all styles and organisations of Aikido into our clubs as long as they are all insured through the British Aikido Board insurance scheme and extend the hand of friendship to everyone.
