Safeguarding – Clubs

Clubs

Every BAB Association and Club has a moral and legal duty of care to ensure the safety and welfare of all children involved in their activities, and to safeguard and protect them from reasonably foreseeable forms of harm.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. It should not be viewed as a standalone process to be done in isolation from the other activities at your club. Everyone working at the club should be aware of good practice and the safeguarding do’s and don’ts. Everyone should embrace the idea that the most important thing they can offer children is to work together to provide an enjoyable and safe environment where the needs and requirements of children are put first.
