The British Ki Society was founded in 1976 to promote the teachings of Tohei Sensei in the UK. We are afflicated to Ki No Kenkyukai Association Internationale which was established by Doshu Yoshigasaki to further develop the concepts of Tohei Sensei. Our organisation has over 4000 members and 120 clubs predominately in Europe but also in Africa and South America.

Our Aikido is practiced on the principle that mind leads body. We have detailed our approach to practice on our website. We also have many articles, written by Doshu Yoshigasaki, covering many of the topics we study.

Here some demonstration videos, made in 2001, that will give an overview of our practise.
