History

Aikido Shoshin Ryu was founded in 2012 by Richard Whitehouse 6th Dan, who has been practicing Aikido for over 20 years within other BAB member associations, from the start of his Aikido career he was a direct student of the late Shihan Ralph Reynolds until his passing in 2006, Sensei Whitehouse has been fortunate to have had influences in his Aikido from various UK and Japanese Sensei`s over the years.

Style

Traditional aikido is taught with emphasis on flow and movement within the technique with positive application, weapons are taught actively as part of the syllabus throughout all grades and practial application of Aikido technique is also taught.
