I have a big field for tents – there are 2 toilets you can use and there is also 1 small shower room and a cold hose (THIS IS FREE).

There is also a professional campsite 5 minutes walk away with proper showers please check website below: (you have to book this yourself but there are availabilities it is a nice place)

There are more bed and breakfast places around but you need a car to get to them – taxis are very expensive and hard to get where we are.

General Rules

I have horses – please don’t feed them – touching them I am NOT responsible if they bite!
For children – I am not responsible if children are injured if they climb the hay bails for fall into a ditch etc…

There is plenty of parking available.

Just to say again – you need to bring everything – shops are about 10 minutes away with the car and supermarkets in Heathfield shut at 4 pm on a Sunday

From Brighton the best way is:

  • Go to Lewes
  • Take 2nd exit to Lewes
  • Go through Tunnel
  • At roundabout take 2nd exit to Heathfield, follow signs to Heathfield
  • Go through Rigmer, Laughton until you get to junction, take a right to Eastbourne you are now on A22
  • Follow A22 about a mile until you see sign to Gun Hill on your left
  • Take this road until you get to A267
  • The entrance to Oakhurst Farm is almost opposite but you need to take a short left and then right
  • The entrance to Farm is on the A267 there is sign Oakhurst Farm between bus stop and bins
  • Drive down driveway 300 yards until you see a gate and an Elephant sign – the gate will be open and drive down to car park

It should take you 45 minutes from Brighton

If people are coming from other directions from London – M25 – Tunbridge Wells A267 and then look out on your left for entrance but generally the “landmark” is May Garland Inn on A267 – from London before Pub on your left other direction reverse.
