I do understand about your friends at your dojo. Some of my greatest friends are one's have or currently do train with me. I am quite a friendly coach and teach mainly in english. After having worked for 17 years in a japanese company I understand the japanese nation quite well and I don't feel I have to try and emulate them on the mat. I look at my class size and think if i am teaching well. Currently we have around 40 people training and most of them have been with me for years. I dont give out Dan grades easliy or quickly but normally have around 7 coaches on the mat.<EM>&nbsp; I think I am doing ok! But one can always improve.</EM></DIV>]]>

Not being from the uk, I wondered how things are viewed there.
