   It was my first time at a national course, and as I didn't train I could perhaps see a little more of the organisation on the day. I thought it was extremely well planned and seemed to run without a hitch. The Stewards were great - friendly and helpful - and the first aid lady was lovely. The venue was good and hopefully we managed to raise some money for the aiki extensions project.

All in all a great day with good instruction throughout. The BAB, the students, the instructors and the organisers can be proud.

PS I saw Steve Billett hurtling through the air on the end of a Kubotan - it made my eyes water so I dread to think what it did to yours, Steve!!
