Yoshinkan is by far the best form of Aikido. All the rest are just for dancing around with a partner that can't stand up for more than a few seconds.

It must be great to be that confident in your Aikido, Lets hope it never goes wrong for you and you never meet someone who is better that you. Which I am sure you must one day and they probally won't be from a Yoshinkan Club.

Must be true then as no one of any importance has replied to my statement. As for meeting someone better well that is a possibility but unlikely.
I'll be at national course with my club this year. Why don't you come and check me out, I'll be one throwing everyone around with real Aikido :)

Are you sure you were not there in 2004? Check out the 2nd picture on the 2004 National course. Your Aikido must be really devastating. On a more serious note, does your instructor not teach you about being humble and controlling your ego. I bet your instructor is really proud of you.

I look forward to seing your outstanding Aikido ability. I have attended a few courses over the years with various budo masters, But as you say you are the best then I believe you.
I would think that the senior Yoshinkan yudansha in the UK are thrilled to have such a master in their presents. Maybe Joe Thambu Sensie and Robert Mustard Sensie should fly in to witness you.
Just to clear up any mix up before you attend are Juniors allowed at the national course. Edited by Shaun Hoddy - 31 Jul 2008 at 10:21am |

The correct spelling is Sensei not Sensie :)
I am old enough to attend the National course and still young enough to take an active part in the days training unlike some.

What is the point to this post?? My personal opinion is that it is nothing more than inflammatory and derogatory. Where are the moderators? Post should have been locked with a warning posted. Totally not what this Forum or Aikido is about. and serves no purpose. Just my opinion Andy |
