50 plus students, once again
enjoyed a great weekends training at Hawkinge, Kent, with a
variety of aikido styles. Although this year we had more
Tomiki Instructors as it is the 50th anniversary of Tomiki
Aikido in Britain, It had been hoped that Sensei Senta
Yamada 7th dan would attend but due to ill health he was
unable to come to the UK on this occasion.
This annual event draws clubs
from UK Shinwakai and the Aikido Development Society, the Sensei included Jack Poole 7th Dan, Roy Sheppard 6th dan,
Shaun Hoddy 6th dan, Marill Poole 5th dan, Joe McEnroe 4th dan, Steve
Billett 4th dan, Tony Evangelo 4th dan.
