Volunteers required to undertake new roles within the BAB
The Board urgently needs volunteers to assist in implementing a number of key initiatives identified in the Aikido Development Plan.
These include the promotion of the objectives and work of the Board and the value of aikido to a wider audience, including national media; developing volunteer resources to support both the Board, Associations and individual clubs; ensuring compliance with current legislation and in particular that relating to equity and equality.
The existing Board Officers already have significant workloads and these valuable initiatives cannot be undertaken without additional help. They have therefore agreed to the appointment of 4 additional Appointed Officer Posts:-
Media Officer
Equity & Equality Officer
Legal Officer
