As from the 17th June 2013 only the applicant will receive a copy of their Disclosure (previously the BAB would also have received a copy).
For this reason it will now be necessary for the BAB to obtain Disclosures from applicants so that recruitment risk assessments can be carried out. NB This only applies to Disclosure with content – copies of clear Disclosures will not be requested.

Anyone who receives a DBS or other criminal record Disclosure Certificate which is NOT clear must send it to the BAB Lead Safeguarding Officer firstname.lastname@example.org within 14 days of receiving it.
